Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Jenco Consulting LLC, doing business as Jenco Ventures ("we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information when you use our websites and services, including the Jenco Ventures website at jencoventures.co and the AI Operator's Playbook product and portal at aioperatorsplaybook.com (together, the "Service"). We are based in the United States and process information there. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide:

  • Account information: your email, password (stored hashed), and, for Business plans, company name, workspace name, and role.
  • Billing information: processed by Stripe. We store a Stripe customer ID and your purchase or subscription status. We do not store full card numbers.
  • Content you create: Master Context files, roadmaps, and similar work you create or upload in the portal.
  • Messages: what you send us when you contact us, request an engagement, or fill out a form.

Information collected automatically: which lessons and AI Employees you view or download, and standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested.

2. How we use your information

  • To provide and operate the Service, including logging you in and saving your work.
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions, renewals, and billing.
  • To send service emails such as welcome, password reset, and account or policy updates.
  • To respond to inquiries, scope engagements, and provide support.
  • To secure and improve the Service and to prevent fraud and abuse.
  • To comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising (sometimes called "targeted advertising"), and we have not done so in the preceding twelve (12) months. We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not use sensitive personal information for any purpose other than providing the Service.

3. How we share your information

We share information only as needed to run the Service:

  • Service providers that process data on our behalf: Supabase (authentication and database), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), and Netlify (hosting). Each is bound to protect your information and use it only to provide its service to us.
  • Within your organization: on a Business plan, your workspace admin can see account and usage information for members.
  • Legal and safety reasons, when required by law or to protect rights, property, or safety.
  • Business transfers, such as a merger or sale of assets, where the recipient agrees to honor this Policy.

4. Cookies

We use only first-party session cookies that are necessary to log you in and run the Service. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, third-party analytics, session-replay tools, or advertising pixels. You can control cookies in your browser, but disabling necessary cookies may prevent you from logging in.

Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. Because we do not sell or share personal information or use cross-site tracking, there is no behavioral tracking to opt out of. Where a browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or similar opt-out signal, we treat it as a valid request not to sell or share personal information. Browsers also offer a "Do Not Track" setting; because there is no common industry standard for it, we do not respond to it separately, but our practice is already not to track you across sites.

5. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. When it is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

6. Data security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including encryption of your content at rest, hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your login credentials confidential.

7. Your rights and choices

You may request to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of your personal information by emailing hello@jencoventures.co. We will respond within the time required by law, generally within 30 to 45 days, and may need to verify your identity first. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We will not discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising your rights.

Categories of personal information we collect

In the preceding twelve (12) months, we have collected the following categories of personal information, as defined under California law: identifiers (such as name, email, and IP address); commercial information (such as products purchased and subscription status); internet or network activity (such as pages viewed and content downloaded); and the content you create or upload in the portal. We collect this information for the business purposes described in Section 2. We disclose it only to the service providers listed in Section 3. We do not sell or share it.

U.S. state privacy rights

If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, or another U.S. state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law, you have the right to: (a) know and access the personal information we hold about you; (b) correct inaccurate information; (c) delete your information; (d) obtain a portable copy; (e) opt out of any sale or sharing of your information for targeted advertising (note: we do not sell or share); and (f) limit the use of sensitive personal information. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@jencoventures.co. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our response, and you may contact your state attorney general if you have concerns. California residents may also request information under California's "Shine the Light" law regarding disclosures to third parties for their direct marketing; we do not make such disclosures.

EU, UK, and other regions

If you are in the EU, UK, or another region with applicable data protection law, you may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Where we process your information, we rely on lawful bases including performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, your consent where required, and compliance with legal obligations.

8. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for users who are at least 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service before they take effect. The "Last updated" date at the bottom of this page shows the most recent revision.

10. Contact
