Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Jenco Consulting LLC, doing business as Jenco Ventures ("we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information when you use our websites and services, including the Jenco Ventures website at jencoventures.co and the AI Operator's Playbook product and portal at aioperatorsplaybook.com (together, the "Service"). We are based in the United States and process information there. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide:

  • Account information: your name, email, and password (stored hashed), plus your workspace, your role in it (Owner, Admin, or Employee), and the email addresses of people you invite.
  • Billing information: processed by Stripe. We store a Stripe customer ID, your subscription status, seat count, and renewal date. We do not store full card numbers.
  • Messages: what you send us when you contact us, request an engagement, report a problem, or fill out a form, including the page you were on and your browser type when you report a problem.
  • Booking details: if you book a call through our calendar link, Google collects the details you enter under its own privacy policy and shares the booking with us.

Information collected automatically: which lessons you open, start, and complete; standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested; and, where Google Analytics is active, the usage data described in Section 4.

What we do not collect. The working files you build with the Curriculum and AI Coach, such as your Master Context, My Context, and AI Employee files, are created and stored in your own AI tool (Claude or ChatGPT) and on your own devices. They are not uploaded to us. Your conversations with your AI tool are governed by that vendor's privacy policy, not ours.

2. How we use your information

  • To provide and operate the Service, including logging you in, managing your workspace and seats, and saving your progress.
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions, renewals, and billing.
  • To send service emails such as welcome, password reset, and account or policy updates.
  • To respond to inquiries, scope engagements, and provide support.
  • To secure and improve the Service and to prevent fraud and abuse.
  • To comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising (sometimes called "targeted advertising"), and we have not done so in the preceding twelve (12) months. We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not use sensitive personal information for any purpose other than providing the Service.

3. How we share your information

We share information only as needed to run the Service:

  • Service providers that process data on our behalf: Supabase (authentication and database), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Netlify (hosting and contact form delivery), Google (Fonts, which loads typefaces from Google servers; Calendar, for call bookings; and Analytics, described in Section 4), and jsDelivr (a content delivery network for a script the Portal loads). Each receives only what it needs to provide its service to us. Loading a page shares your IP address with the hosting and delivery providers named here.
  • Within your workspace: the Owner and Admins can see the names, emails, roles, and seat status of workspace members.
  • Legal and safety reasons, when required by law or to protect rights, property, or safety.
  • Business transfers, such as a merger or sale of assets, where the recipient agrees to honor this Policy.

4. Cookies, local storage, and analytics

Necessary cookies and local storage. We use first-party cookies and browser local storage to log you in and run the Service, such as your login session, your last-used email on the login screen, and your light or dark theme choice. You can clear this data in your browser, but doing so will log you out.

Google Analytics. We may use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our websites, such as which pages are viewed, how long visits last, and roughly where visitors come from. When it is active, Google sets analytics cookies and receives your IP address, device and browser details, and the pages you view. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy, and may combine it with other data it holds. We do not enable Google's advertising features, we do not pass your name, email, or account details to Google Analytics, and we do not use it inside the logged-in Portal. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout or by blocking cookies from google-analytics.com in your browser.

We do not use advertising cookies, session-replay tools, or advertising pixels.

Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. Where a browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or similar opt-out signal, we treat it as a valid request not to sell or share personal information and to limit analytics cookies. Browsers also offer a "Do Not Track" setting; because there is no common industry standard for it, we do not respond to it separately.

5. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. When it is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

6. Data security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest, hashed passwords, and access controls that limit workspace data to its members. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your login credentials confidential.

7. Your rights and choices

You may request to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of your personal information by emailing hello@jencohq.com. We will respond within the time required by law, generally within 30 to 45 days, and may need to verify your identity first. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We will not discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising your rights.

Categories of personal information we collect

In the preceding twelve (12) months, we have collected the following categories of personal information, as defined under California law: identifiers (such as name, email, and IP address); commercial information (such as products purchased and subscription status); internet or network activity (such as pages viewed and content downloaded); and the messages you send us. We collect this information for the business purposes described in Section 2. We disclose it only to the service providers listed in Section 3, including Google Analytics where active. We do not sell it, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.

U.S. state privacy rights

If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, or another U.S. state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law, you have the right to: (a) know and access the personal information we hold about you; (b) correct inaccurate information; (c) delete your information; (d) obtain a portable copy; (e) opt out of any sale or sharing of your information for targeted advertising (note: we do not sell or share); and (f) limit the use of sensitive personal information. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@jencohq.com. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our response, and you may contact your state attorney general if you have concerns. California residents may also request information under California's "Shine the Light" law regarding disclosures to third parties for their direct marketing; we do not make such disclosures.

EU, UK, and other regions

If you are in the EU, UK, or another region with applicable data protection law, you may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Where we process your information, we rely on lawful bases including performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, your consent where required, and compliance with legal obligations.

8. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for users who are at least 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service before they take effect. The "Last updated" date at the bottom of this page shows the most recent revision.

10. Contact
